Service Agreement for Bubble and Face Paint Entertainment

 

                                       

1.  Fees:

A.  -Face Painting: $100 per hour with a 2 hour minimum. Up to 30 faces painted per hour. The intricacy of the design will be determined by the amount of participants.

B.  -Bubble Play-Time: $125 per hour with a 2 hour minimum. No limit on amount of participants.

C.  -Combo Face Paint & Bubble Party: $225 total for 2 hour party consisting of 90 minutes of Face Painting and 30 minutes of Bubble Play-Time. Up to 20 faces painted per party. The intricacy of the design will be determined by the amount of participants. 

D.  -More Face Paint time can be added at $50 per 30 minute increments to accommodate more participants. 

*Important-  Be sure to book your time accordingly to avoid leaving anyone out. PLEASE do not ask us to disappoint any guests due to lack of time booked. We often have an event booked right after yours and we may not be able to stay past stop time contracted. If you exceed the time booked and we are available to stay, it will result in additional charges, not to exceed $100/hour. Client will pay for the time booked plus overrun, even if Client has delayed the time we start the actual face painting.

 

2.  Payment Due:

A.  -All charges/remaining balances are due on the day of the event. Payment can be made with cash, check made to- Mary Jordan, PayPal, Venmo, or credit card reader.

B.  -Client must pay for a minimum of 2 hours even if Client uses Artists for less than 2 hours. 

 

3.  Completion of Booking:

Fully booked event requests are taken first come, first served. Completed Service Agreement signature and any booking fee requested must be received to complete the event booking or the client runs the risk of losing that date.  

                                                             

4.  Travel / setup / other fees:

A.  -Travel fees apply when the event is more than 45 minutes from Gwinn, MI. We will contact you with a quote for mileage if a travel fee is necessary.

B.  -Depending on your event, there may be a charge for outdoor, lengthy or difficult setup -please contact us for a quote if your event has special requirements for setup.

C.  -Parking fees must be paid to Artist on top of contracted payment. 

D.  -Should a check be returned, there is a $50 returned check/inconvenience fee.

 

5.  Parking:

A.  -Please either leave a space open in front of the house/event on the street, the driveway, or a loading dock so Artist can unload equipment. 

B.  -The Client will reimburse Artist for any parking fees the day of the event. 

*Please note- should difficult parking situations arise this may delay the start time of services, and we are not required to reimburse for time lost.

 

6.  Indoor Setup:

A.  -A minimum of 5’ x 5’ space is required for Face Painting and 20' x 10' space is required for Bubble Play-Time.

B.  -Artist will arrive in time to set-up, approximately 15 minutes prior for Face Painting or Bubble Play-Time and 30 minutes for Combo Party. 

C.  -Artist will provide professional face painting supplies, a table and (2) chairs for Face Painting. If you prefer, Artist can use your table and chairs and will bring a cloth to cover your table. 

*Important- While we will do our best to take the utmost care of your items, we are not liable for any damage to furniture if you choose for us to use yours.

D.  -Please provide access to a restroom for hand-washing and disposal of paint water.

E.  -Please ensure that the face painting location has adequate lighting. 

 

7.  Outdoor Setup:

A.  -We will provide professional face paint supplies, a table and (2) chairs for Face Painting and/or all supplies needed for Bubble Play-Time. 

B.  - We DO NOT bring individual wands or bubble solution for each child. If you should choose to provide individual wands and bubble solution for extra bubble play, please wait til after Fairy Mary is finished performing. 

*Please note- We will not be liable for any accidents related to the use of client supplied bubble equipment or bubble products.

C.  -For Face Painting outdoors, please provide a covered and weather protected area for setup. We require a minimum of 5’L x 5’W x 11’ H of level space, adequate lighting, access to a restroom for hand washing and a place to dispose of our painting water. 

D.  -Please don’t water your lawn on the day of your party, or soak it heavily the

previous day if possible.

 

8.  Weather: 

A.  -The client agrees to provide an area with protection from extreme temperatures, sun, rain, snow and excessive wind. 

B.  Client is responsible to provide an alternate indoor location in the event of inclement weather. 

C.  -The client agrees to pay the full amount contracted once the painter has arrived at the event location, even if it is raining. 

*Important-  Please list an alternate indoor location on the front of the contract as we do not offer refunds for inclement weather.

 

9.  Breaks and Stop Time:

A.  -Artists will have paid breaks of 5-10 minutes after three hours of working time and access to a rest room. 

B.  -If you have booked by the hour for face painting, it is your responsibility to limit additional guests from requesting service after that time. Please book enough time to have all your guests painted to avoid this disappointment.

 

10.  Cancellations / Refunds / Reschedule:

A.  -Should you need to reschedule your event, please do so at least 7 days prior and we will make every effort to meet your needs. 

B.  -If you need to cancel the event, you must cancel 24 hours prior to the event or you will have to pay the total contracted amount specified on your invoice. Cancellations made 7 or less days in advance require 50% fee of total contracted amount. Booking Fees are non-refundable in the event of a cancellation, but are transferable if needing to reschedule due to an emergency. 

C.  -We do not offer refunds for inclement weather.  Please secure an alternate indoor location for your event in advance. 

D.  Should our Artist get sick or have to cancel due to an emergency, you will be refunded the total contracted amount and rescheduled, should you choose, at no cost to you.

 

11. Limitations On Artwork:

If in public, artists will not paint on any part of the body that is not legal to expose or

anyplace she does not feel comfortable painting. In addition, Artists will not paint subject matter she deems offensive or disturbing.

 

12. Extreme Adverse Working Conditions and Safety:

Artist has the right to cease entertaining and leave without refunding any monies if there are extreme adverse working conditions and the Client fails to remedy the situation after it has been brought to the Client’s attention. Adverse conditions included but not limited to: destructive, violent, or extreme inappropriate behavior of a child, pet or adult; illegal activities; unsafe or otherwise dangerous working/performing conditions.

 

13.  Liability Statement:

A.  -While we use FDA compliant cosmetic supplies, Artist is not liable for allergic reactions to paints and/or supplies. People with skin allergies or sensitive skin should either not participate, or have Artist perform a patch test at the beginning of the party. 

B.  -Client understands that darker face paints might linger and must be gently removed with mild soap or skin-safe lotion/oil/face wash, warm water and soft washcloth. 

C.  -For safety reasons, Artists will not paint children under 2 years old if child is

unwilling. 

D.  -For sanitary reasons, Artists will not paint anyone who is or appears to the Artist

to be sick or suffering from cold sores, severe acne, conjunctivitis, ringworm, sunburn, eczema, any infectious skin condition or open wounds. These determinations are at the Artist’s discretion.

E.  -Artists will use reasonable care, but will not be held responsible for damage to clothing or property.

F.    -The Client agrees to pay for any accidents or injuries caused by pets or guests, and/or any

damage to Artist’s equipment or supplies caused by pets, lawn sprinklers, or guests. 

G.  Under no circumstances will Artists supervise children. Their behavior and safety is the Client’s and/or Parents’/Guardians’ responsibility.
